The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc. kicked off 2008 with the traditional first Regional Awareness Program of the year, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008. MetroRAP celebrated 15 years of bringing New York City insurance producers together for networking, professional development and recognition of the industry’s stars. Held for the seventh consecutive time at the Brooklyn Marriott, MetroRAP hosted some 600 professionals for the event that authorities in the insurance industry know can’t be missed if you do business in downstate New York.

“MetroRAP has become an icon for successful businesspeople who want to stay on top of their game in the industry,” said PIANY Director and MetroRAP Committee Chair Michael P. Cracco. “Every year, brokers and agents from around the Metropolitan New York area come to see each other, see all the vendors at the sold-out trade show and start the year by earning valuable continuing education.”
