The Hudson Valley RAP featured an awards luncheon with a keynote address by newly elected PIANY President Martin Koles, who congratulated everyone in attendance for making Hudson Valley RAP the successful program that it has become since its inception five years ago and he urged everyone to stay involved in the association.

“Take full advantage of your association by getting involved; volunteer to sit on a committee for an event such as this one; participate in one of the many advisory councils we hold throughout they state; or host an education session at your office for you employees and perhaps some friendly colleagues in your area looking for CE credits,” said Koles. “The opportunities are enormous and the return on investment of your time and experience will come back to you ten-fold.”

Also during the luncheon, the HV RAP Executive of the Year award was presented to Kathleen Scaglione of the Main Street America Group-NGM Insurance Co., Middletown, N.Y., who was recognized by her colleagues for her professionalism and commitment to the industry. During the presentation of the award, Donna Chiapperino, chair of Hudson Valley RAP and PIANY treasurer said: “The experience she gained from working on both the carrier and agent side of this industry have given her an exceptional perspective on the needs and concerns for her customers and their clients.”
