| Kenneth Bessette Kenneth Bessette is PIA’s president and CEO. Prior to his appointment, he was the executive director of the Professional Insurance Agents of New York State, New Jersey, and Connecticut since 1993, (PIA management services in Glenmont, N.Y. took over management of PIA New Hampshire in 1999.) He joined the organization in 1984. Bessette has more than 24 years of experience in association management and government affairs and has been recognized for his expertise and service by both the National Society of PIA Executives and the Empire State Society of Association Executives. A native of New York’s Capital Region, he holds a bachelors degree from the State University of New York’s Brockport College and a masters degree from the College of St. Rose. |
